Karolina Breguła is mainly preoccupied with issues relating to the reception of art. She conducts research among non-professional art audiences, focusing on their relation to works of art. She strives to find a place for art in everyday life, and to provide art heritage with new roles in the contemporary world. The aim of her work in the field of art is to build new meanings and to conduct a self-analysis of culture. Project ‘Art Lover’ is photography presenting an art lover, Everyman, a person who is not a professional art expert and whonderstands art differently from critics, but who enjoys it tremendously. The presentation ‘Art Lover’ will be displayed on the facade of the BWA Gallery and in public space, and there will also be a meeting with the author of the project, who will discuss her works dedicated to the theme of the availability of art.
