Bead embroidery is a decorative technique used in Polish folkwear art since 1924. It differs from traditional embroidery techniques in that the ornamental element is not yarn, but glass beads. Initially, it was used in Polish folk art to embellish clothes for special occasions, but it was soon employed to create accessories or decorative elements for interior design. Bead embroidery is not only clothes, but also pictures, devotional objects, accessories for hair and footwear, as well as everyday objects. This technique requires patience and precision, and it is possible to acquire both skills while creating unique beaded compositions.
