This is a publication dedicated to those who have found their calling in education through art - not only educators, animators and teachers, but also parents who would like to stimulate their child’s independent artistic creativity. Exchange of good practices and sharing ideas, as well as problems, will help us improve our methods. We can draw inspiration from these suggestions, taking whatever we like and converting it into even better quality work. This is also the way to avoid mistakes that others have made. We do hope this publication will serve its purpose well – it is the first part of Art (in) Education series, and it has been published within our ‘Ready, Steady, Art!’ project, and it is the result of our request to everyone that we worked with on this project to contribute their texts. Their authors tackle a wide variety of subjects, which allows me to believe that every reader will find something interesting and useful here.
