Artist Karolina Grzynowicz will meet us to talk about land art. During the workshop, we will take a closer look at selected realisations from the 1970s and later, which include gigantic art pieces and much smaller, ephemeral works. We will see how different artists work with soil, landscape and nature.
Then, we will leave the safe walls of the BWA gallery building and head for Katowice's spoil tips (please make sure you have comfortable footwear on) — and once we get there, we will investigate the potential that this man-made, mountainous landscape has to offer.
