Since the dawn of time, human beings have felt the need to create music, produce sounds and to move in many different ways. Our workshop brings together beatbox — rhythmic sounds produced by a speech apparatus — and contemporary dance — which in this case draws on natural, physiological capabilities of a body to find its own expression, which happens when we focus on the impulse and readiness to move.
Who is it for?
If you are over 16, happy to work in a team, while willing to upgrade your physical skills and – most importantly – feeling like giving this 'hybrid experience' a try, then it is for you.
You are most welcome to join us no matter what your current level of expertise — this is an open-form workshop.
